Nutrition

Our haddock and chips are made from 100% natural ingredients and contain no artificial colourings or preservatives. They contain less fat and fewer calories than most other takeaways options, and are a valuable source of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and iron.

The government recommends that we eat two portions of seafood a week as it is an excellent source of Omega-3 (an important fatty acid our bodies cant produce) and vitamins B6 & B12. 

Potatoes are a great source of fibre, vitamin C and potassium. Our homemade mushy peas are also a great source of fibre, contain very little fat (less than 1%) and also count as one of your 5-a-day!

Analysis

We sent a regular portion of our own haddock, chips and mushy peas to be professionally tested for their nutritional content. The results show that they contained around 998 calories and 44 grams of fat (based on a regular portion of haddock and chips and small portion of mushy peas combined).
