Part time counter assistant

We are looking to recruit a enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our fantastic team here at Croft Street Fisheries. This is a permanent position working part-time hours. Shifts will be worked as laid out by a weekly rota and can therefor change from week to week so flexibility with your working hours is essential. Our new recruit must be available to work Friday and Saturday’s on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service
• Be a quick learner
• Be flexible with their working hours and able to work shifts as laid out by our rota’s (for a full list of our opening times to see what hours you may be expected to work visit our website)

Work duties:

• Handling and packaging food
• Speaking to and serving our customers
• Using a till and handling cash and card transactions
• General cleaning duties as laid out by our cleaning schedules
• Preparation of food

In return you will receive a good hourly rate (above the national minimum wage), excellent in house training with the opportunity of some external training and qualifications relevant to your role, and receive discounts on our products. You will also be working within a clean, modern and friendly environment with a team of people who enjoy their work and strive to be the best!

Previous experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided in house by our highly experienced team.
